Doug Farley Appointed
to
Recruitment, Promotions and Publicity Committee
The Executive Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Doug Farley to the position of Chairman of the Recruitment, Promotions and Publicity Committee.
Doug should be familiar to many in the Association. He was asked to produce the Recruitment procedures recommendations, as an upgraded version of the work done in the NYP District, for all the member choruses in the AMCA. The notebooks you now have in each chorus is the result of Doug's research and editing. He was also asked to head the Task Force when we researched areas of concern within the Association at the departure of the old Ontario District. He is also the current President of Lock City Glee Club, Inc.
Doug currently occupies a position in Lockport at the Erie Canal Discovery Center. The work is in conjunction with the time he devotes to the Niagara County Historical Society. The skills used promoting and publicizing these organizations could be valuable to the Association.
