Topic: Upper Midwest District Big Sing 2005
Comments: Have you ever heard 350 male voices joining is a mass chorus? Here is a great opportunity to experience the full voice of male chorus music. The Big Sing will be held in Rochester, MN on Apr. 29-30. On Friday evening, each chorus will sing two or three numbers and be evaluated by music experts, so this is each chorus at its best. On Saturday evening, the entire group of 14 choruses will present a concert where 7 choruses will sing solo numbers and the mass group will sing another 7-8 song. This is a fun weekend. So, if you would like to join us, contact chorus members for information. If you would like to spend the weekend in Rochester, make hotel/motel reservations early as the rooms go pretty fast. See you in Rochester!

Topic: SSPMC Spring Concert 2005
Comments: The chorus' annual spring concert will be held on April 24. This is an opportunity to hear some fantastic male chorus music under our new director Patty Bjorklund. The concert will include many of your favorite tune as well as some new ones. Please join us.

Topic: SSPMC Spaghetti Dinner 2005
Comments: The annual spring spaghetti dinner will be held on Friday, April 1 at the So. St. Paul Lincoln Center. Here is an exciting evening of good food, fellowship and music. Bring the family for an outstanding spaghetti dinner and marvelous music entertainment. Tickets will be available from any chorus member or at the door. Don't miss this event.

Topic: SSP Tree Lighting Event - December 3, 2004
Comments: On Dec 3, So. St. Paul will kick off the Christmas season with events at Central Square and lighting the Christmas tree on Marie Ave. At Central Square, starting at 4 pm, there well be a holiday craft show, a movie and swimming, ornaments making for kids, and of course Santa Clause will be there. On Marie Ave there will be rides in a sleigh/reindeer unit. The SSP Male Chorus will sing at Central Square about 6 PM followed be some Christmas carols around the Christmas tree on Marie Ave before the tree lighting about 7 PM.

Topic: Christmas in So. St. Paul - December 5, 2004
Comments: The annual "Christmas in South St. Paul" will be held on Dec 5, at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church. Times of the performances are 2 pm, 4 pm, and 7:30 pm. This year's theme is "Sing We Noel" and will feature the Salem Lutheran Church (West St. Paul) Bell Choir, the South St Paul High School Varsity Singers, children singers, Rex Accordians (Rex Music in West St. Paul), and, of course, the SSP Male Chorus and SSP Choralettes. Free tickets are available at the SSP City Hall from 9 am -11am on Sat, Nov 20, and at Central Square from 1 pm -3 pm on Sun, Nov 21.

Topic: Mall of America - December 13, 2004
Comments: On Monday Dec 13, the South St. Paul Male Chorus will be singing at Mall of America at 7 pm on the stage at the east side of the mall. This performance area is next to Snoopy Land. So bring the kids, do some shopping, and listen to some great Christmas music from the South St. Paul Male Chorus. Come to Mall of America and have a good evening. Come on over to the stage area and say hello, we would like to talk to you!!

Topic: Applewood Orchard - 2004
Comments: Here is an exciting event for the whole family. The So. St. Paul Male Chorus will be singing at the "Applewood Orchard" on Saturday Oct. 2. We'll be singing about 2:00, 2:45, and 4:00. In between the music, you can take a wagon ride out to the apple trees and pick you own apples (call the orchard for the price of all their varieties of apples). So bring the whole family and enjoy a beautiful fall saturday at the apple orchard. "Applewood Orchard" is located in Lakeville on Cedar just south of the Lakeville airport. The address is 22702 Hamburg Ave, which is 225th and Cedar, about 30 minutes south of 494 on Cedar. See you there!!
