Music Scholarships For Students
The Associated Male Choruses of America, Inc. (AMCA) was established in 1924 to promote interest in, the performance of, and appreciation of male chorus music.
The AMCA Scholarship Fund is one of the public service functions of the AMCA. It was instituted to assist promising students of music at the college level and is open to all students meeting the requirements.

AMCA Scholarship Winners for the 1999-2000 school year are as follows:

NOTE: This Lester Axdahl Scholarship Award was established in 1998 to honor and recognize the tremendous contributions made to AMCA by Lester Axdahl. Les faithfully and diligently served AMCA as Treasurer for over 30 years and he served as a Trustee of the Scholarship Fund since the fund's inception in 1980.

On behalf of all members of AMCA I extend congratulations to all six
scholarship winners. In total we received 16 applications this year and
we thank all applicants for their interest in our Scholarship Program.
