Comments Upper Midwest Big Sing (Cold Spring Maennerchor) The Big Sing is over for another year. If you like, you can make a comment, compliment, or suggestion about the Big Sing just completed. Topic: UMW Big Sing 2007 Chorus: South Saint Paul Comments: Congratulations to Cold Spring for producing one of the best Big Sings. It was well organized, things went smoothly, and the ticket packages offered was a good idea. But most of all I want to say that it was such a delight to sing in an appropriate venue. The Abbey Church was a great choice. While the acoustics of the gymnasiums and convention centers that have been used for Big Sings are somewhat adequate, it was very nice to be in a better venue. I know there were some problems with the "live" Abbey, but we could have improved that effect by selecting music that better fits the site. It was a great Big Sing. I hope the Cold Spring members that did all the work of organizing the event feel that it was a worthwhile effort and I would hope that they do it again in a few years. Thanks again!
