New York Pennsylvania Big Sing 2004

From: District Minutes - May 15, 2004
The district Big Sing will be hosted by Wellsboro on November 6th, 2004 at the high school beginning at 7:30pm. Wellsboro has invited the Queensmen from Ontario and the Niagara Men's chorus to participate along with all district choruses. They are also looking for another location for the afterglow as they feel the Pennwells Hotel is not adequate for the number of people attending. As of this meeting they have not determined the price for concert tickets or afterglow. That information will be forth coming. A thought at this time would be to perform the three obligatory numbers then the individual chorus numbers and lastly perform all the mass numbers. The massed numbers, not in order, will be:

Today - Simon
One of the above listed mass numbers will be eliminated but at this time no decision has been made as to which one it will be.
Lockport and Amherst are planning on attending the Big Sing (Great Lakes/Michigan) in Dearborn on Saturday April 30, 2005. Mansfield and the Singing Dutchmen will not attend as a chorus. If Wellsboro were going to attend and would be taking a bus then some individual members from Mansfield and St. Marys may want to go along.
