Update on May 5, 2004
Bill Edwards, our Director, has agreed with Grace Marra and Robert Martin to start the directors' meeting at 9:30 AM on Saturday, 6/5/04. Please adjust your plans to get the Directors to the meeting on time.
The Board meeting will still start at 10 AM.

Re: 2004 Spring Meeting
Saturday, June 5, 2004: We will be holding the Great Lakes Male Chorus Spring Meeting at Dearborn Heights Montesorri School, 466 North John Daly Rd, Dearborn Heights, MI, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 5, 2004.
There will be no Directors Meeting on Friday night, June 4, 2004.
- 9:30 AM: The School doors will be open at 9:30 AM for coffee and donuts and registration. The registration fee will $10.00.
- 9:30 AM: The Directors will meet in the Music Room at 9:30 AM,
- 10:00 AM: The Board will meet in the Junior High Area at 10:00 AM.
- 12 Noon: Lunch will be served at 12 Noon.
- 1-3:00 PM: From 1-3:00 PM, the proposed Massed Chorus numbers will be presented to the Board in the Music Room. There will be only 6 Massed Numbers, besides the Star Spangled Banner and Salutation, this year because of the number of choruses singing. The theme for the 2005 Concert will be "Sunshine in My Soul". The Massed numbers will be chosen, where possible, from the AMCA Common Repertoire.
- 3:00 PM: At 3:00 PM or earlier, we will tour the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, which is about 6 miles from the Montesorri school. Maps to the Center will be handed out.
We have not made reservations at any hotels, since it is a one-day meeting. If anybody needs reservations, I will be happy to assist you, just call me or email me.
Looking forward to a really big Concert next year with possibly 14-15 clubs attending.

Directions to Dearborn Heights Montesorri School:
The Dearborn Heights Montesorri School is on the east side of North John Daly Road a block north of Cherry Hill Road.
From the South:
Take I-75 North to Exit 35.
Take left lane to Telegraph Road connector.
Follow Telegraph Road north for 7 miles, passing I-94 and Michigan Avenue to Cherry Hill Road.
Take Cherry Hill Road west for 1 1/2 miles to North John Daly Road.
From the East:
Take I-94 West to Exit 202b.
Take Telegraph Road north.
Follow Telegraph Road north for 3 miles, passing Michigan Avenue to Cherry Hill Road.
Take Cherry Hill Road west for 1 1/2 miles to North John Daly Road.
From the North:
Take US-23 South to I-96.
Take I-96 East to I-275 South to I-96 East to Exit 177 (Inkster Road).
Take Inkster Road south for 5 miles to Cherry Hill Road.
Take Cherry Hill Road east for a 1/2 mile to North John Daly Road.
From the West (I-94):
Take I-94 East to Exit 202a.
Take Telegraph Road north.
Follow Telegraph Road north for 3 miles, passing Michigan Avenue to Cherry Hill Road.
Take Cherry Hill Road west for 1 1/2 miles to North John Daly Road.
From the West (I-96):
Take I-96 East to I-275 South to I-96 East to Exit 177 (Inkster Road).
Take Inkster Road south for 5 miles to Cherry Hill Road.
