(Manager's note: Ron Nelson was the director of the Blandin Male Chorus, Grand Rapids, MN and has been dealing with cancer for some time! His composition "The River" was sung by the Festival Massed Chorus at the Upper Midwest Big Sing hosted by the Blandin Male Chorus in April 2001.)

DECEMBER events from the AMCA calendar (Check 'em yourself on the Calendar)
- December 1 - The Cold Spring Maennerchor will be singing a Christmas Concert at the Paramont Theatre in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Concert is at 7:30 P.M. Ticket price is $12.00. Call the Paramont Theatre Ticket Office at 320-259-5463.
- December 8 - The Cold Spring Maennerchor will sing a Christmas Concert at St. Boniface Church in Cold Spring, Minnesota. Concert at 7:30 P.M. Joining the Maennerchor will be the St. Boniface Adult Choir and the St. Boniface Handbell Choir. Ticket prices are $7.00 for adult and $5.00 for students. Social to follow the concert.
- December 9 - RMC Christmas Concert - Rochester (MN) Male Chorus annual concert. 4:00pm at Mayo Civic Center.
- December 15 - The Cold Spring Maennerchor will be singing a Christmas Concert in the theater of Melrose High School, Melrose, Minnesota. Concert time is 7:30 P.M.
