Copyright Issues Continued! / UMW Big Sing
10 April 2001
AMCAers,
It has been over a month since I sent out a message to you. Yes, the web site is still functioning but it is needing some input from you!

Copyright Issues continue in Bill Bates latest column.
What does the law indicate? What does your conscience indicate? How does your chorus stand on this? Do we really need to deal with this? Get in on the discussions!

Upper Midwest Big Sing items are appearing regularly (Friday Recital Schedule is now online). Choruses should make sure that their Music and Registration information is submitted. No pictures yet but maybe someday I'll get some.

Gayle has designed a "soon to be released" brochure for International Big Sing 2003 in Lansing. Look for it and for other information on Big Sing 2003 as it is released at:

AMCA Talk has gone dark. The web site could not make money and folded so I have initiated a new (maybe just temporary) AMCA Talk site. I hope more of you will begin to use this to share info and ideas.

Does anyone have information to fill in the blanks for past AMCA Scholarship winners. Some of you must have old issues of the Chorister or must know of the people that received some of these awards. There is a pretty impressive list of former scholarship winners - a real outreach of AMCA.

Don't forget to "get your password" to access the "members only" AMCA Password Protected web site for detailed member lists, etc.

Do you know of anyone that would like to receive these email messages and be a part of the AMCA mailing list?

Make sure you check the New Items Page if you have been away from the AMCA Web Site for awhile!

Notice the important upcoming meeting of the AMCA International, "Blueprint For Progress" workshop. Get involved and contact your representative to the International. Do you also have an chorus event that could be on this page?
