Choruses send their Directors and Chorus Representatives to District Meetings to plan District Activities. Officers are elected at these District Meetings and are assigned responsibilies to follow through on actions taken at District Meetings. Each District has differing practices and many of them are listed below.

     Representatives to the AMCA Executive Council are elected/appointed at this District Meetings. These Delegates are to attend the AMCA Executive Council Meetings and represent their district interests.

     The AMCA Executive Council was reorganized by the By-Laws of 2004 (formerly called AMCA International Board) and the meeting practices are in evolution yet. The AMCA Executive Council appoints the AMCA Executive Director who is responsible for the "day-to-day" operation of AMCA.
